The sentence arrives for the collapse of the road to Monte Pino which, in November 2013 during the flood that hit the Gallura, caused the death of Bruno Fiore, his wife Sebastiana Brundu and his consuocera Maria Loriga. The judge of the court of Tempio Pausania, Camilla Tesi, handed down three sentences for multiple manslaughter, reducing what had been the requests of the prosecutor Ilaria Corbelli: Pasquale Russo, then manager of the Olbia-Tempio Province road system, was sentenced to a penalty of 1 year and 11 months of imprisonment; Giuseppe Mela, manager of the Viability sector of the Province of Sassari, was sentenced to 1 year and 9 months; Graziano Sini, coach of the former Olbia-Tempio Province, will instead have to serve a 1 year sentence. Acquittal for the fourth accused, the technician of the Olbia-Tempio Province, Francesco Prunas.

Furthermore, the Province of Sassari was convicted of civil liability, with compensation to be quantified separately. The payment of a provisional, immediately enforceable, is ordered in favor of the civil parties: 30 thousand euros each for the relatives of the Fiore spouses, 15 thousand euros for the relatives of Maria Loriga.
