An invitation to airlines that operate routes to and from Sardinia to "collaborate", despite the inevitable competition.

The appeal comes from Salvatore Deidda, deputy of Fratelli d'Italia and president of the Transport Commission of the Chamber.

"I hope - writes the parliamentarian in a note - that there is collaboration between the airlines that operate on the Island, in mutual respect and distinction of roles and competition, but with the common goal of offering a better service. For example, Ita, given the positive virtuous path taken, recognized unanimously, can give a hand to Aeroitalia in a growth path such as managing Cagliari and Olbia at the same time, finding a commercial agreement on codesharing for other national destinations from Milan and Rome. It takes good will".

"I don't want to get into a controversy over a hasty and poorly managed tender," concludes Deidda, "but let's try to work together to lower costs for airlines and have Sardinia and the Islands recognized as having the specificity determined by the Constitution."
