From September 11th to 13th, Sports Day 2026 will take place. The event focuses on sport, inclusion, and disability. The Municipality is granting its patronage and allocating €3,500 for three days dedicated to sport, socializing, and inclusion. This is the " Sport Without Barriers – 2026 Edition " project, approved by the Milis municipal council with a resolution dated August 31st (document published on the amministrazionetrasparente.unionesarda.it portal).

The event, organized by the Pro Loco of Milis in collaboration with Dinosardo.it and other local sports associations, will take place from September 11th to 13th, with activities aimed at children, youth, adults, and families. This year's edition will focus on disability and inclusion, with the aim of promoting sport as a tool for overcoming physical, cultural, and social barriers. Among the events is the conference "Respect Takes the Field – Sport as an Element of Cohesion," open to the public.

The municipal administration thus confirms its desire to promote sport as a tool for well-being, education, integration, and participation, involving the entire Milis community.

There is, however, one fundamental condition: the event can be held in the sports and recreational complex of the Via Roma playground only after the fields have been tested and the necessary certifications have been issued . The council has acknowledged that, at the time of approving the resolution, the test certificate had not yet been obtained. Organizers will also be required to ensure all safety measures and surveillance of the areas.
