First flight cancelled without warning, second delayed for hours: odyssey for 25 Sardinian priests
They had gone to Rome for the Jubilee, the return was scheduled for yesterday afternoon but they arrived only today

Odyssey for twenty-five priests, including the bishop, of the Diocese of Tempio Ampurias , who flew to Rome to participate in the Jubilee of Priests. Blocked at Fiumicino airport since yesterday evening, the parish priests of Gallura managed to return to Olbia only a few hours ago .
The group of priests was due to land at Costa Smeralda late yesterday afternoon but the 6.55pm flight, operated by Volotea, did not take off and was cancelled without warning and without official information from the carrier.
Left on the ground, the priests were re-protected on the first flight today, at 7:45 this morning, but were allowed to board the plane only after hours of delay compared to the scheduled time.
