Fertilia, swarm of bees in the church of San Marco: firefighters arrive

They had intervened for a dangerous cable on the facade of the church of Fertilia, but when they arrived on site the firefighters also discovered the presence of many insects.

They were bees and had built their hive among the stones of the sacred building of San Marco. During the approach, the firefighters of the Alghero detachment had to wear protective suits, after which it was decided to inform the competent authorities in order to safeguard the swarm.

With the necessary protections and the help of a ladder truck that arrived from Sassari, the dangling cable was removed for the safety of the faithful.
