Falls on Highway 126 near Bindua, injuring a motorcyclist

Accident in the early afternoon today on State Road 126, between Iglesias and Gonnesa.

A 69-year-old motorcyclist lost control of the vehicle while he was a short distance from Bindua, falling disastrously to the ground. He hit his head and chin: the air ambulance was activated to help him and took the injured man to the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari.

Contrary to what initially appeared, the sixty-nine-year-old's condition does not cause concern: only a wound to the face and a slight head injury. The patient never lost consciousness.
