The Sassari Court of Assizes of Appeal sentenced Paolo Ledda , the 56-year-old pharmacist who on 19 June 2019, in Alghero , with a DIY bomb , tried to blow up the building with a DIY bomb to 9 years and 4 months in prison in via XX Settembre where Unipol-Sai is based.
Penalty reduced compared to the first degree trial, at the end of which 12 years had been inflicted on him.
A discount, prompted by the pg, motivated by the outcome of the collegial psychiatric report requested by the defense lawyers Danilo Mattana and Bastianina Cocco, who recognized a partial mental defect for the accused.
The same lawyers had asked for Ledda's acquittal .
