The Porto Torres-Genoa line is cancelled. The distance between the two ports, for some time, seems to have become insurmountable. The Moby Wonder ship remained blocked in the Turritano maritime port due to engine failure problems. Yesterday evening, Monday 25 November, a cold shower for passengers and truck drivers re-protected on the Moby Legacy ferry departing from Olbia but headed for Livorno.

"They made us board and only two hours later, at 10.50 pm, the captain announced that there was a technical problem with navigation safety, so the ship would not leave," the truck drivers complain.

This means that they will have to cover more kilometers by land, to reach Olbia and then on the Livorno-Genoa stretch of road, about 350 kilometers beyond those scheduled. Therefore, some have chosen to stay in Porto Torres waiting to board the next ship, the Moby Tommy, leaving this evening, November 26, towards the Ligurian port.

The nine passengers without vehicles reached Olbia on a replacement bus provided by the Tirrenia –Moby company. The bus will also be provided on the Livorno-Genoa stretch. In the meantime, the Moby Tommy ship has docked at the port of Olbia, having arrived this morning as scheduled and will depart this evening. Last night, the Tirrenia company provided passengers with both meals and cabins on the Moby Wonder ferry, and lunch on the Moby Tommy for those who had chosen to depart from Porto Torres.
