A moment of discussion and analysis dedicated to the opportunities offered by the energy transition for small and medium-sized enterprises . The information event, promoted by the Energy and Green Economy Service of the Sardinia Region's Department of Industry in collaboration with ENEA, the National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development, will be held tomorrow in the Seminar Room of the Cacip Service Center in Macchiareddu.
The initiative represents the fifth stage of the National Plan for Awareness and Assistance to SMEs in the Energy Transition Process, implemented by ENEA in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security. The goal is to provide businesses with concrete tools to improve energy efficiency, reduce consumption, and increase competitiveness while meeting environmental sustainability objectives.
The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. with institutional greetings from the Regional Councilor for Industry, Emanuele Cani, and the ENEA Board Member, Michele Ennas. During the morning, the main tools and measures made available by ENEA and the Sardinia Region to support SMEs intending to invest in energy efficiency will be illustrated.
There will also be space for direct dialogue between institutions, businesses, trade associations, and professionals through a roundtable discussion dedicated to the challenges and opportunities of the energy transition in the regional manufacturing sector.
"The initiative is particularly important within the framework of the Department of Industry's intervention strategies," Councilor Cani emphasized, "because it reaffirms our commitment to promoting energy efficiency through a systemic approach that develops a mix of energy solutions, optimizing businesses' competitiveness, both economically and in terms of climate neutrality." The event is also accredited for professional training purposes by the Order of Engineers of the Province of Cagliari and the Order of Industrial Experts of Cagliari, awarding two training credits.
