Emergency niches in Nughedu San Nicolò, the extension works of the cemetery area have begun

End of the emergency niches in Nughedu San Nicolò : a problem that had been dragging on for too many years in the Logudorese center. In fact, work has begun on the expansion of the cemetery area , in which an area from scratch will be built and in which all the entrances will be arranged. All this thanks to a loan of 200 thousand euros granted by the regional public works department.

The works will be completed almost in record time : by the end of the current year.

"The new structure will allow us to put an end to the emergency in which we have lived in recent years - comments the mayor of Nughedu San Nicolò Michele Carboni - It is a fundamental work for a community that wishes to huddle up to the last trip, giving everyone the security of a burial. I thank the regional department for funding, but it is also thanks to our planning, which is allowing us to finalize what has been promised to citizens ".
