A van caught fire this afternoon in the parking lot of a business in the Elmas industrial area.

The flames broke out around 1:30 PM, prompting the intervention of firefighters from the Cagliari Operations Center, who put out the blaze, preventing it from spreading to other parked cars and the adjacent structure.

The operations concluded with the complete extinguishing of the fire, the securing of the area, and the initiation of investigations to determine the cause of the fire. Among the hypotheses is that the flames were caused by a fault in the vehicle's electrical system. No one was reported to be involved.
