Once the final project has been approved, the Municipality of Elmas is now preparing for the assignment of the works for the safety of the historic and rural area of Santa Caterina .

A turning point, considering that the € 300,000 jobs had been expected for years. The funds will be invested for interventions to prevent further structural collapses and controls against uncontrolled access to the complex.

The aim of the intervention is to make the area , including the church, a pole equipped to host environmental, archaeological, sporting and recreational activities but also temporary events that may affect the vast area.
