Nine years of physical and verbal violence against his family members : these are the charges against a 45-year-old man in Elmas , a resident of the capital and already known to the police, who was placed under house arrest by the Carabinieri.

The measure, carried out yesterday afternoon, follows investigations by the Carabinieri, which have allowed them to reconstruct the serious picture of harassing behavior by the man.

According to the reconstruction, the contested episodes would have continued for the period between 2017 and 2025.
