A series of thefts, probably all carried out by the same gang, took place last night in Elmas, Assemini and Monserrato .

The loot amounts to thousands of euros. In Elmas, a pastry shop along Via Sulcitana was targeted: the thieves forced open the front door and stole the cash register, which contained approximately 700 euros . Shortly thereafter, a similar incident occurred at a pastry shop in Assemini: the door was forced open and the cash register stolen, containing 2,000 euros . There were three of them, all with their faces covered.

In Monserrato, two tobacconists located a short distance from each other were targeted. Three masked men ripped down the shutters, stole the change machines, and then fled.

The Carabinieri of the Cagliari and Quartu Companies, coordinated by the Provincial Command, are investigating the incidents. The nature of the robberies, their proximity in time, and the descriptions of the criminals suggest that the same gang was responsible in all four cases.
