A 1.7 magnitude earthquake was recorded overnight in the Pauli Arbarei area, two kilometers south-east of the country.

The earthquake, located from the hall of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology in Rome, occurred at 2.29 am Italian time at a depth of 13 kilometers.

The exact geographic coordinates, according to Ingv, are (lat, lon) 39.6530, 8.9380.
