Maxi operation by the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Sassari and the Territorial Department of Olbia, who arrested six people, one reported, and seized over 2 tons of marijuana stored in an agricultural shed in Andrieddu , in the municipality of Telti .

The military, having noticed suspicious movements near a rural house, decided to monitor it from a distance. When the search began, they found a real laboratory for processing and packaging marijuana. Inside, four people were caught red-handed while working the substance and getting rid of waste in the surrounding countryside.

The drug was piled up and in order on several sheets filled with the already dried inflorescences ready for subsequent packaging, while several hundred more plants were found hanging from a drying system of threads. In addition to drugs, a lot of waste material was found.

In the shed there were several fans and powerful dryers still in operation at the time of the intervention and all the tools useful for packaging.

At the end of the operation, six people were arrested for the production and possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing in competition , all aggravated by the large quantity. These are the four directly involved in the processing together with the owner of the shed and his son, many of these originally from Nuorese.

In addition to them, the owner's daughter, also present on the spot, was reported. Those arrested were taken to the Sassari-Bancali prison at the disposal of the Tempio Pausania judicial authority which coordinated the activity.
