The Ajaccio Prosecutor's Office has ordered technical investigations on the truck, owned by a company from Santa Teresa Gallura , which crushed the driver Enrico Caruso from Teresino, killing him.
The events occurred yesterday afternoon in the Suartello district of Ajaccio. The head of the prosecutors, Nicolas Septe, awaits information from the personnel of the Fire Brigade of Southern Corsica and the Gendarmerie. Caruso was crushed between the truck and a wall, the driver was unloading material from the skip and was on the ground.
While the man was using the truck's small wire-guided crane to place the concrete platforms on the ground, the vehicle moved, overwhelming him. Caruso was an employee of the company that owned the truck and was 60 years old.
