Drama on the ferry to Olbia: passenger dies of a heart attack

Tragedy on board the ship Grimaldi in the crossing from Livorno to   Olbia   .

A 64-year-old man, originally from Asti, who was traveling with his wife on the Cruise Europa was struck by an illness during the journey.

This morning the alarm went off and upon arrival at the Isola Bianca port an ambulance from 118 was ready for assistance but unfortunately there was nothing more that could be done for the man and the health personnel did not even intervene: the passenger he had already died on board of a heart attack.

The Coast Guard and the Border Police intervened.
