A retired pediatrician was found dead in the garden of her home in Tasonis , a hamlet of Sinnai , at the foot of Mount Serpeddì.

Some family members made the discovery with the immediate arrival of a 118 ambulance and the police.

The woman did not have any injuries. Death would have been caused by an illness .

The body was immediately returned to the family for funerals.
