A fire broke out in the early afternoon in Domusnovas, with flames spreading toward farms and some homes. No evacuations were necessary.

Two helicopters from the regional fire-fighting fleet from the bases in Pula and Villasalto intervened on the fire, which was declared an interface fire, in addition to the forestry corps, firefighters and volunteers.

The flames are not yet completely out but the fire is under control, so much so that the two aircraft have already been recalled to base .
