The Carabinieri of Dolianova identified and reported a 50-year-old from Torre Annunziata and a 30-year-old Pakistani, now untraceable, for the crime of aggravated fraud .

It all started with a complaint received on 17 October last and formalized by a 51-year-old worker from Oristano.

The man had received a phone call from the Neapolitan who, posing as an operator of the Italian Post Office, told him that he had detected anomalies on his postal account, inviting him to enter codes on the app.

At that point, Oristano realized not only that his users were blocked but also that unauthorized charges had been made for a total value of 1,650 euros, plus 2 postal card top-ups of 962 and 400 euros respectively.

The investigations carried out by the carabinieri made it possible to verify that the money had flowed into papers attributable to the Neapolitan. The scammer will have a trial in Cagliari.

The foreigner, on the other hand, appears to be the holder of the telephone number used to perpetrate the scam.
