Died in the crash on the highway 291: the motorist sued for manslaughter on the road

Jona Pasquale Latte was the name of the 35-year-old centaur from Alghero who was killed in yesterday's accident on state road 291 along the Calich variant , towards the Riviera del Corallo airport.

The young man, a construction worker, was traveling on a Kawasaki 750 from Fertilia to Alghero when at kilometer three, in La Rucchetta, a seven-seater Nissan minivan, driven by a 78-year-old woman, in an attempt to turn left would flooded the lane in which the 35-year-old was traveling.

Latte was unable to avoid the impact : he crashed on the side, flying on the asphalt, and died instantly. Attempts to revive him were useless.

The woman driving the Nissan, slightly injured and in shock, was charged with manslaughter on the road .
