Monastir, caught stealing from a parked car: he had landed a week ago

Having landed just a week ago, on August 14th, he was caught by the Carabinieri while searching inside a car near the Monastir medical centre .

A 23-year-old Algerian man , a guest at the repatriation detention centre (CPR) in Monastir, was reported by the Carabinieri of the local station.

The police responded to Via Nazionale after a security guard called 112 and saw the young man tinkering near a parked car. When they arrived, they caught him red-handed while he was searching the car, a Polo belonging to a 64-year-old woman from Sestu, a nurse working at the clinic . The young man, apprehended without resistance and identified, was reported at large.
