A twenty-eight-year-old from Desulo was sentenced to nine years and two months in prison for sexual violence and various mistreatment of his ex-partner: episodes that occurred last year between Desulo and Tonara.

This was ordered by the Court of Oristano (president Silvia Palmas, with Mascia and Argiolas on the sides) at the end of the immediate trial.

The judges accepted the request of the prosecutor Sara Ghiani, who at the end of her closing speech had asked for a sentence of nine years and six months.

Then the floor was given to the civil party lawyer Manuela Cau, who, while agreeing with the conclusions of the public prosecution, stressed that the victim of violence and beatings had no desire for revenge.

Finally, the defense: the lawyer Martina Cocco focused on the reliability of the injured party, casting doubt on it, and asked for the defendant's acquittal.
