The Vallermosa carabinieri reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Cagliari for receiving stolen goods a 44-year-old originally from Decimoputzu but residing in Elmas at the "L'Aquilone Sardinian Solidarity Center", de facto homeless, unemployed with previous complaints against him.

The man had abandoned a Peugeot Partner van owned by a 49-year-old businessman from Assemini in the Tamoil distributor in via San Basilio di Decimoputzu. At the sight of the military he escaped on foot.

The recovered vehicle was returned to its rightful owner (who had reported the theft on February 4th). The cameras of the service station were fundamental in recognizing the 44-year-old, well known to the carabinieri.
