Heavy sentences in the trial for the cheerful expenses in the management of the Gal Terre Shardana.
The panel of judges, president Carla Altieri alongside Marco Mascia and Federica Fulgheri, issued four sentences.
Former president Antonello Solinas was sentenced to nine years and two months; a sentence of 3 years and 6 months for his wife Monica Deias; 3 years and two months for the former director Maurizio Cucchiara; 3 years and a month for the consultant Valentino Brunzu. The consultant Tiziana Tirelli, defended by Mario Gusi, was fully acquitted.
The investigation by the prosecutor of Oristano had hypothesized anomalous expenses of the Gal: public funds would be used offices for a stay in the Riviera del Corallo, the payment of bills for the storage of boats, up to the purchase of 800 kilos of casizolu (for a worth over eight thousand euros).
The defenses have always rejected the accusations of the prosecutor Armando Mammone.
