Crash at the entrance to Dualchi, a 59-year-old dies

Tragedy on the road between Borore and Ottana.

This morning around 9 am, a Fiat Doblò ended up against the rock at the entrance to Dualchi, in the Su Pischinale area. The driver was Serafino Porcheddu, a 59-year-old baker from Sedilo, who died instantly. Resuscitation attempts by healthcare personnel were useless.

The passenger, Francesco Cugusi, a 27-year-old from Fonni, was injured and was taken to hospital.

The traffic police, the Macomer firefighters with team 7A, an 118 ambulance and the air ambulance are on site.

It remains to be clarified what happened, not excluding the possibility of the driver becoming ill.
