Cozzolino Murder, the Expert Report: Davide Iannelli Was Capable of Understanding and Willing

The conclusions of the psychiatric assessment ordered by the Court of Assizes of Sassari on Davide Iannelli, the man accused of having caused fatal burns to Toni Cozzolino from Olbia, have been filed. For the expert appointed by the judges, Iannelli is capable of understanding and willing. The consultancy was ordered as part of the trial for the murder of via Petta, Iannelli doused his rival with gasoline and started the flames.

The facts date back to March 11, 2022 and occurred in Olbia. The victim of the attack died in hospital due to burns. For psychiatrist Claudia Granieri, Davide Iannelli is a person capable of evaluating the consequences of his actions.
