Covid, in the Nuorese area the highest increase in infections in Italy: + 32.7% in a week
Only in 4 provinces new cases are growing, in the rest of Italy (and the island) the infections continue to decreaseNuoro is the province with the highest increase in Covid infections in the last week. The data emerges from the report of the Gimbe Foundation, according to which the new weekly cases are growing only in four Italian provinces.
Bologna (+ 3.2%), Rimini (+ 0.4%), Biella (+ 1.7%) and, precisely Nuoro, where there is a significant increase ( + 32.7% ).
On the regional front, fairly stable new cases, a decrease of 0.1% in the last week. The currently positive per 100 thousand inhabitants recorded an improvement from 1,583 to 1,513 .
On a provincial basis, compared to the data of Nuoro, where the incidence is at 640, cases are decreasing in all the other provinces: South Sardinia -6.2%, with an incidence at 620; Metropolitan City of Cagliari with an incidence of 600 and a decrease of 3.2%; Oristano -7.7% with an incidence at 571; finally Sassari, incidence at 347 and -2% .
The pressure on non-critical wards (14.7%) and on intensive care (4.9% with a national average of 3%) remains above the national average, but below the 15% threshold.
VACCINES - As for the vaccination campaign, the percentage of people over 5 years old without a dose is 8.2% , higher than the national average of 7.
Those who have not received the third dose of the vaccine are still 5.9% (Italy average 7.1%). The vaccination coverage rate with fourth dose for immunocompromised people is 24.8% (Italy average 25.8%), while for the over 80, Rsa guests and frail people in the 60-79 range is 4.1% (Italy average 11.5%).
