Covid, 6 other victims in Sardinia, including a 32-year-old from Oristano

In Sardinia, daily infections of Covid-19 below one thousand, but there are six other victims, including a 32-year-old man .

Here are the data for today, August 19, 2022, released by the Region.

On the island there are 759 additional cases of positivity (of which 707 diagnosed as antigenic), a slight increase compared to the 717 of the last survey. A total of 2990 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic, with a positivity rate ranging from 23.3% to 25.3% .

The patients admitted to the intensive care units are 11 (-1), while those in the medical area rise to 132 (+5).

The number of people in quarantine continues to decrease: 15370 in home isolation (-799).

As mentioned, there are six deaths in the last 24 hours : a man of 70 and one of 81, residing in the province of Southern Sardinia; a 72-year-old woman residing in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari; an 89-year-old woman residing in the province of Sassari; a 97-year-old man, residing in the province of Nuoro and, in fact, a 32-year-old man, residing in the province of Oristano .
