At the end of a meeting the Regional Health Councilor Carlo Doria made precise commitments: " The pressing emergency at San Martino di Oristano will be overcome by the arrival of doctors from the Sassari hospital through additional services".

Doria also spoke of a "platoon of soldiers capable of covering the needs of local medicine".

These are the aspects that emerged at the end of the meeting in Oristano , convened by the mayor Massimiliano Sanna , with the representatives of the health districts of the province, the general manager Angelo Maria Serusi : the serious critical situation of the San Martino hospital was at the center of the meeting and detail of the Department of Medicine.

In recent days it was director Serusi who sounded the alarm, also sending a note to councilor Doria to inform him of the dire situation that had led him to suspend hospitalization for a few days.
