Cortoghiana, head-on collision between van and off-road vehicle: mother and child injured

Perhaps a carelessness or dense fog could be at the origin of the road accident that took place this morning at the traffic light at the entrance to the hamlet of Cortoghiana .
Moments of apprehension because the accident involved a Yundai off-road vehicle and a van with a load of wood. A woman of about 40 and a girl of about 10 , mother and daughter, aboard the off-road vehicle. Thanks to the explosion of the airbags, they would not have reported particular injuries except a backlash in the neck: the Sosago Gonnesa ambulance doctors (who intervened on the spot together with the carabinieri) stabilized the injured already inside the cockpit.
However, the accident could have had more serious consequences: both vehicles were destroyed . In the impact, the van (whose driver was unharmed) then lost part of the load of timber that spilled onto the 126 state road, risking to involve other vehicles.
