Prompt intervention by the Carabinieri: two Romanians arrestedPer restare aggiornato entra nel nostro canale Whatsapp
When the Carabinieri arrived, the two were busy cutting copper cables inside a company's factory: a thirty-three-year-old and a twenty-four-year-old, both Romanian, ended up in trouble.
The operation took place overnight in Gonnesa (and not in Siliqua, as initially reported) following a tip-off. Officers from the Iglesias Mobile Unit and their colleagues from the Siliqua station moved quickly and caught the thieves red-handed, still with the tools in their hands.
The two arrested men were taken to the Iglesias police station , where they spent the night in a holding cell, awaiting their fast-track trial.
