The Tar reopens the "Belle e Monelle": the Sanluri nightclub, which hosts the shows of numerous protagonists of hardcore cinema, had been closed for two weeks by the Cagliari police chief with a provision dated 29 December. Twelve days earlier a customer had head-butted another patron in the nose. And for this reason the "danger to public order and the safety of citizens" was assessed, which had led to the halt of activities during the holiday season.

An abnormal decision, for the lawyer Marco Piroddi, who challenged it before the administrative court on behalf of the owner Davide Podda.

In his appeal, he explained that after the beatings, the emergency services and the police had been called. Following that episode, Belle e Monelle had also hosted exhibitions by well-known names in the sector, such as that of Malena (an event also advertised with 6X3 posters in Cagliari), who had attracted numerous patrons, without incident. And that, in any case, such a thing had never occurred during the recent years of activity.

The administrative judges issued a decree: not a decision on the merits, but still sufficient to shorten the period of "punishment" until 7 January, because "the profile of censure based on the violation the principle of proportionality, in relation to the duration of the measure adopted".

The council chamber is set for February 1st. Only later will it be known whether the police's decision will be considered exaggerated or not. Meanwhile, the place reopens.
