Plea bargaining defined for all the main protagonists of the Geovillage case. In front of the investigating judge of Tempio Alessandro Cossu, this morning the agreement was reached between the prosecutors and the defense for the sentences against the founder of Geovillage, Gavino Docche, and his family.

Docche, defended by lawyers Fausto Bruzzese and Gianluca Tognozzi, pleaded guilty to four years and six months in prison. The investigation, conducted by the public prosecutor Mauro Lavra, ended with the charge of fraudulent bankruptcy. The financial exposure is estimated at almost 160 million euros.

The case mainly concerns the history of the Sviluppo Olbia company, whose assets included the Olbia sports tourism complex. According to the Guardia di Finanza, the management of Geovillage caused the financial collapse and huge debts. The bankruptcy trustee of Sviluppo Olbia has joined the civil action, represented by the lawyer Guido Manca Bitti.

Gavino Docche's son and wife, Fabio Docche and Anna Costaggiu, have pleaded guilty to sentences of less than two years. They are assisted by lawyers Domenico Putzolu, Bruno Cuccu and Pasquale Ramazzotti.
