A social enterprise (also) to catalyze attention on the fundraising cause, launched this summer on the Gofundme platform, undertaken by the president of the Quota 33 Sport & Wellness association, Riccardo Meloni, who challenged the climb of Capo Figari, carrying on his shoulders a thirty-kilo rower on which, once he reached the top of the promontory, he rowed for about ten kilometers.

Objective (achieved), collect donations for the purchase of an electrocardiograph that, as of today, is in operation in the Cardiology department of Giovanni Paolo II. "This small feat has marked the start of the collection and I am happy that, thanks to this synergy between sport and healthcare, today we can celebrate a very important milestone", said Meloni who in the challenge was supported, free of charge, by the doctors and nurses of the hospital and by the Barracellare company of Golfo Aranci.

"This wonderful solidarity initiative has as its protagonist the association and its president who have worked hard to reach the goal but it is also thanks to the doctors and nurses of Cardiology who have managed to intercept this possibility and to all those who have materially made donations, from all over Italy", commented the health director of the ASL Gallura, Raffaele De Fazio. In a few days, 6,500 euros were collected which allowed the purchase of the latest generation instrument with high quality printing for patient visits.
