Child in danger of life transferred from Sardinia to Rome

An urgent medical transport from Sardinia to the peninsula ended overnight.

An eight-month-old baby, in imminent danger of life, was loaded aboard a Falcon 50 of the 31st Wing of the Air Force which took off from Alghero and headed for Rome.

An ambulance then transferred him to the Bambino Gesù hospital in the capital.
