A morning of passion for hundreds of motorists heading to Cagliari : part of the state road 130 towards the capital literally went haywire due to maintenance work started by Anas at the junction for Elmas airport.
The work, necessary for the installation of a new guard rail, led to the narrowing of the roadway, causing very long queues and slowdowns, especially during rush hour.
Traffic began to build up since the early hours of the morning, involving commuters, families and workers. Many, to avoid the traffic jam, looked for alternative routes by choosing state road 131, then turning from the intersection for Elmas towards Sestu. A move that however also congested access to the city from Viale Monastir and the former 131, thus multiplying the inconvenience. Even now, traffic is slowed down and obviously further repercussions on traffic cannot be ruled out until the end of the intervention.
