Tomorrow morning, Sunday, August 30th, at 10:00 a.m., Piazzale Rolandi in Montevecchio will host an event that intertwines literature and tradition: the presentation of "Approdo Intricato," the new novel by Patrizia Prosperi, part of the thirty-third Honey Festival. Attorney Angelo Lino Murtas will be in conversation with the author.

The novel unfolds between Florence, Marseille, and even reaches the Costa Verde, between Torre dei Corsari and Buggerru, and follows the adventures of Dora, the protagonist of a story that intertwines multiple emotional and narrative layers. "I wanted to recount grief, the intensity of the father-daughter relationship, and then love—both passionate and spiritual," explains Prosperi , who carefully captured the locations that form the backdrop to the story in the book. " The Costa Verde, and Torre dei Corsari in particular, is described in contemporary detail, because they are places I love deeply . Anyone who visits these places will have the almost physical sensation of truly entering the story." Ultimately, the entire plot is driven by a reflection on time and the unpredictability of existence. "Life sometimes surprises us: what we didn't expect suddenly happens," says the author. "Then we forget, until one day fate presents it to us on a silver platter." A consideration that accompanies Dora's journey, suspended between what she has lost and what, without warning, life gives back to her. But "Tricky Approach" doesn't stop at the private stories of its characters. Intertwined with the pages of heart and life are a chapter of historical memory, a still-open wound: that of the Sant'Anna di Stazzema massacre.

There's also a thread that ties this novel to the author's previous work, "The Bush of Innocence": the decision to donate all proceeds to charity. " As with my previous novel, all proceeds from this one will be donated to the La Nostra Famiglia Association in Conegliano," Prosperi emphasizes, "which works to protect the dignity and improve the lives of people with disabilities, particularly those affected during development, through specific rehabilitation interventions for children and young people ." This event, therefore, combines the discovery of a new story set in one of Sardinia's most evocative corners with a concrete gesture of solidarity, in the evocative setting of Piazzale Rolandi and the festival that has celebrated one of the region's finest achievements for thirty-three years.
