The Carabinieri of the San Vito and Villasalto stations have closed the investigations into the dramatic accident of yesterday evening at the 21st kilometre of the new Orientale sarda : the conditions of the 74-year-old German tourist, accompanied yesterday in red code to Brotzu, are reportedly stable.

The compatriot who was travelling with him on the back seat of the BMW 650 was luckier as it skidded after colliding with a car : the woman, aged 64, only suffered bruises although she too was taken to hospital for checks.

The Carabinieri who acted under the command of Major Massimo Meloni, commander of the San Vito Company, have reconstructed the dynamics of the accident but strict confidentiality is being maintained regarding the details and any responsibilities.
