Another emergency at sea, along the rocky coast of Punta La Craba, near the Lu Bagnu beach, on the coast of the Municipality of Castelsardo. A boat crashed on the rocks and some parts of the small pleasure craft ended up in the sea. The men of the Maritime Rescue Volunteer Corps of the local station, chaired by Danilo Romano, intervened on the spot and recovered the material contained inside, objects scattered on the rocks and other more dangerous waste, such as batteries, fuel tanks, which were collected by the water mirror to avoid the dangers of environmental contamination.

The men of the Barracellar Company of Castelsardo reported the incident who, during a patrol of the territory, noticed a boat overturned on the rocks from the top of the rocky ridge, on the coast of Punta di La Craba, a cove located inside the Gulf of Asinara. Reporting to the Port Authority of Porto Torres allowed prompt intervention thanks to the motor ship of the Coast Guard which identified the vessel and initiated investigations to identify the owners and the causes of the accident.

The searches excluded the presence of injuries. According to an initial reconstruction, the pilot boat, about five meters long, was abandoned during navigation before ending up on the rocks, probably due to lack of fuel or engine failure.
