A 69-year-old man from Cardedu was seriously injured when he fell from a ladder in a building he owned in via Mare.

The elderly man was transported by ambulance, in red code, to the Nostra Signora della Mercede hospital in Lanusei and from here, in light of the critical picture, to the fire brigade helipad where, around 18.30, Echo Lima 3 landed , the helicopter based in Elmas. The aircraft took off at 7pm and the patient was transferred to Brotzu in Cagliari: he is in intensive care .

According to an initial reconstruction of the facts, in the late afternoon of today the man would have tumbled from a height of two and a half meters hitting his head . It is probable that the elderly man has lost his balance, even if the hypothesis of an illness cannot be excluded. Ambulance crews were at the scene.
