Two people were injured in one head-on collision occurred yesterday afternoon in Carbonia but, upon investigation, a drama within a drama was discovered.

Driving the Ford Fiesta involved in the collision was Amanda Gallus , a woman from Carbonia who had recently reported a fifty-year-old, Alessio Zonza, for stalking: he was the man who was driving the car she collided with on the outskirts of the mining town .

While the investigations carried out by the municipal police were still underway , Alessio Zonza was placed in custody by police officers on charges of attempted murder .
