Carbonia, the body of a 40-year-old man was found

The lifeless body of a man of about 40 years of age was found in Carbonia .

The discovery took place near the roundabouts close to the railway and state road 126 .

Some passersby who immediately alerted 118 raised the alarm .

Officers from the police station rushed to the scene and forensic checks are underway.

Investigations into the cause of death are underway.
