Carbonia, ever higher rents: 150 people helped by the Municipality

In Carbonia there are 150 families in the city who will be helped with public support to pay the rent.

These are tenants in need who live in private apartments or those who have joined the public program entitled "20,000 houses" and therefore are holders of rents agreed with public bodies but with fairly high levels of participation in the payment.

In any case, the Municipality of Carbonia has taken part in a project which makes it possible to contribute to the payment of rents to an increasing extent with respect to the needs of individual applicants.

The ranking has been drawn up and provides for 150 families who will benefit from a contribution which in some cases can even reach 1,500 euros, i.e. a support capable of reducing at least half a year's rent. The measure has proved to grow over the years because in the past it only managed to concern about eighty families.
