An accident occurred this morning just before 9 a.m. in Carbonia. It occurred at the intersection of Via della Vittoria, Viale Arsia, and Via Catania, a common intersection for similar incidents.

The collision between a Golf and a motorcycle occurred due to a failure to yield. The motorcyclist fared the worst, suffering leg injuries. Although not seriously injured, he had to seek treatment from the Solki 118 emergency services who arrived on the scene.

Two patrol cars from the Carbonia local police arrived on the scene, and in addition to carrying out the necessary investigations, they also determined the cause and culprits of the accident. They also had to regulate traffic, which was quite heavy at the time, with some diversions into nearby streets.
