The investigation began following reports received by the Carabinieri regarding strange movements around the man's home , located in a residential area of the city.

Some citizens reported the presence of individuals known to the police who, with a certain frequency, were hanging around the house at unusual times , lingering and then quickly moving away.

By cross-referencing these reports with other information already in the military's possession, the Carabinieri decided to start a more in-depth investigation, carrying out observations that confirmed that the house was a point of reference for drug dealing activities .

This morning, therefore, the personal and home search that led to the discovery of 790 grams of hashish, divided into blocks and ready for sale, three precision scales and material for packaging the doses . The sum of 3,410 euros in cash was also seized, believed to be the proceeds of the illicit activity.

The material was collected and seized, while the arrested person, at the end of the formal procedures, was taken to the court in Cagliari for the validation hearing with a direct trial, scheduled for this morning.

Investigations are continuing to identify any accomplices or recipients of the seized drugs.
