He left his home in Medau Desogus, a hamlet of Carbonia, last Friday and never came back. Since that day there has been no more news of Stefano Esu, 39 years old.

His mother has already filed a missing person report with the carabinieri and is awaiting information and reports, perhaps from someone who saw him at the Carbonia or Cagliari station. Esu was on his way to the capital to meet someone known to the family.

But it is not known whether he actually took the train to Cagliari. The only certainty is that he didn't show up for the appointment: the same mother, who lives with him, ascertained it when she didn't see her son return. Even the round of phone calls to the hospitals of Cagliari were unsuccessful, Iglesias is Carbonia: it does not appear that he was rescued or hospitalized.

Esu has some health problems: the family members are further worried also by the fact that he would not have brought the medicines with him. The mother is now also awaiting the outcome of the analysis of the images from the station ion of Carbonia to verify if the son has actually boarded the train to Cagliari.
