Moments of fear late yesterday evening along the provincial road 105, which connects Alghero to Bosa. Around 11:50 p.m., a car left the road at the crossroads for Villanova Monteleone, overturning on its side.

There were two people on board the vehicle, who fortunately managed to free themselves before the arrival of the rescue. A team of firefighters from the Alghero detachment intervened on the scene in a few minutes, who proceeded to secure the damaged vehicle and the entire surrounding area to avoid further dangers.

The Carabinieri carried out surveys to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the accident, while the 118 personnel took charge of the two occupants of the vehicle, transporting them to the Emergency Room for checks. Their conditions do not appear to be serious, but they were subjected to routine checks.

Traffic along the affected stretch has been slowed to allow for safety operations.
