Car and van on fire in Elmas: alarm raised overnight

Alarm raised in Elmas last night , shortly after one o'clock, due to a fire that broke out in Piazza dei Gelsi.

Two parked vehicles caught fire, a car and a van.

Firefighters arrived on site with two vehicles and seven operators to put out the flames and secure the area.

Investigations have already begun to establish the probable causes of the fire.

The timely intervention of the firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to the apartments of an adjacent building.
